Truck Driver

Overview:
Lester Buildings, LLC, a leader in the post frame building industry has an opportunity for a self-motivated experienced individual as a semi truck driver in the Charleston area.
This position is full time.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
-Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route destinations, parking, break periods, etc.
) as well as company policies.
-Pickup and deliver goods as required.
-Inspect trucks to ensure working conditions of brakes, lights, wipers, windshield, fire extinguisher, flares, and other safety equipment in the truck.
-Ensure that cargo is well secured.
-Maintain a log of the condition of the truck, and any cases of accidents.
-At the end of the journey handover records of deliveries, receipts, payments, mechanical problems, etc.
-Be knowledgeable of all Federal DOT rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a CDL, class A license, medical card and a good driving record.
Trips vary - some one day; some overnight layovers.
Some heavy lifting required.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, have experience with large over-sized loads and great customer service.
There will be times when the driving workload is lighter.
In these situations, drivers will work in the manufacturing areas as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
